Coming to Campbelltown: rising band Hands Like Houses.

It’s only taken six years but finally Campbelltown has made the Indent Tour.

The all ages music event featuring two local bands, local support staff and headline act Hands Like Houses, will be held at Campbelltown Civic Centre, Queen Street, Campbelltown on Friday, September 25.

The 2015 Indent Tour will take in Orange, Scone, Batemans Bay, Goulburn and Sydney – but Campbelltown will be first cab off the rank on September 25.

The only tour of its kind in the country, the annual Indent Tour is more than just a music concert: it’s also a skills development opportunity for young people in regional areas.

Campbelltown City Council’s Youth Entertainment Reference Group (YERG) members will be directly involved in the event planning for the September 25 gig, with participants gaining practical skills in event management by working alongside industry professionals.

On the back of the success of last year’s Indent Tour featuring hardcore four piece In Hearts Wake, the 2015 version will be headlined by Australian hard rock act Hands Like Houses.

Joining them as touring support on all dates will be pop punkers Columbus, a first for the Indent Tour.

And The Dirty Reeds and The Last Exposure will be the local bands sharing the stage on September 25.

Emerging from school based friendships in Canberra in 2008, Hands Like Houses caught the attention of US label Rise Records, bursting into the limelight with their debut album Ground Dweller in 2012.

Earmarked as a band to watch in 2015, three-piece emotive-punk trio Columbus released their highly acclaimed EP Home Remedy earlier this year, and recently embarked on a national tour with acts Endless Heights and Trophy Eyes.

Hands like Houses and Columbus will bring their high octane live shows to four regional areas across NSW, including for the first time ever Sydney and Campbelltown.

All Indent Tour shows are all-ages, drug and alcohol free.

Tickets: On sale now from Campbelltown Council’s Customer Service Centre (Queen Street, Campbelltown) for just $10 pre-sale, or $15 at the door. Online go to  www.indent.oztix.com.au
