Man bashed with baseball bats at Minto home

An investigation is under way following the serious assault of a man in Minto.

Police say three men, all armed with baseball bats, entered the front yard of a property on Plowman Road, Minto, and approached a 40-year-old male occupant.

The three men assaulted the occupant before running from the scene.

The occupant suffered serious injuries and has been taken to Liverpool Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

A crime scene has been established at the Plowman Road home as detectives from Campbelltown City Police Area Command conduct their inquiries.

It’s believed at least one of the three men was known to the occupant.

The incident occurred in the afternoon of Wednesday, September 23.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate this man who is wanted on arrest warrants.

Adam Abdalla, aged 31, is wanted on three outstanding warrants relating to an alleged break and enter during which two dogs were stabbed. Both are recovering from their injuries.

Detectives from Liverpool City Police Area Command have conducted extensive inquiries into his whereabouts but have been unable to locate him.

The man is described as being of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance, about 175cm tall, of medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He is known to frequent the areas of Revesby, Strathfield and Edmondson Park.
