Nissan has finalised the QASHQAI range with the high spec Ti grade going on sale from July 1.

One of Australia’s most popular small SUVs when the refreshed 2018 model was launched late last year, the Nissan QASHQAI was offered in three variants including the entry model ST, the core grade ST-L and the temporary “special edition” high-spec NTEC – which was introduced to complete the range ahead of the arrival of the Ti.

The Ti features a number of additions over and above what was offered on the superseded NTEC option, including intelligent cruise control and lane intervention.

Intelligent cruise control reduces the car’s speed, maintaining the gap to the car in front, and intelligent lane intervention alerts the driver if the car starts to veer into another lane.

The Ti’s Nappa leather-accented seats feature 3D quilting and soft cushioning to provide a luxurious, premium feel.

They also have two memory positions and four-way electric lumbar support for the driver and six way electric adjustment for front passenger comfort.

The Ti has a long list of safety features including intelligent emergency braking with forward collision warning, front and rear parking sensors, a reverse camera, lane departure warning, hill start assist, brake assist and an electric park brake with auto hold – all of which are standard across the range

“The Nissan QASHQAI Ti features a long list of Nissan intelligent mobility safety technologies and other standard equipment for buyers wanting more,” says Nissan Australia managing director Stephen Lester.

“With its contemporary internal and external styling, technology and safety, there’re plenty of reasons why QASHQAI is one of the best performers in its segment.”

The Ti features a 2.0 litre petrol engine with 106kW of power and 200Nm of torque mated to the Xtronic CVT transmission, and sips from as little as 6.9 litres of standard unleaded petrol per 100 kilometres – making it one of the most fuel efficient vehicles in its sales segment.

It also offers 430 litres of rear cargo capacity – one of the best in its class – increasing to 1,598 litres with the rear seats down, and is available in seven contemporary colours.
