Appeal for information over theft of four cars from Smeaton Grange dealership

Local police are appealing for assistance after four cars were stolen in Smeaton Grange over the weekend.

Police say they have been told that between 4.55pm on Saturday (May 21) and 8.45am Sunday (May 22), four cars, and wheels and rims from a fifth vehicle, were stolen from a car dealership on Dunn Road at Smeaton Grange.

The cars are described as being:

– A white 2005 V8 Holden Commodore sedan, registration AF55LA;

– A black Holden Commodore station wagon, possible registration CSN13L;

– A 2002 Subaru WRX sedan, registration BE83WN;

– A white 2007 Holden Commodore sedan, registration CC55LU.

Officers from Camden Local Area Command are investigating the incident.

They have launched an appeal for anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area, or who may have seen the cars, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page: https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au/.

Police say that any information provided by the public will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

But police also would like to remind the public that they should not report crime information via the NSW Police social media pages.
