Youth Week activities in Camden
The 2017 Youth Week activities in Camden start from March 31.

Skate clinics, a movie night and yoga are just some of the free activities on the calendar for this year’s Camden Youth Week.

Get Involved, Be Heard and Make a Difference are the themes for the 2017 youth week, which will be on between March 31 and April 9.

The diverse list of events has been formulated to provide engaging activities for local people aged between 12 and 25.

The program is supported by Camden Council in partnership with a number of youth services, Camden Council’s Youth Council and community groups in the local area.

“Youth Week is an opportunity for young people to express themselves, make connections and learn more about what interests them,” says Mayor Lara Symkowiak.

“I am excited about our program which offers a broad range of activities and caters to the different interests and needs of our young community members.

Young people can roll up to all of the free events on the day.

Three of the events – Camden Show, Rockwave Youth Festival and the Youth Movie Night are ticketed events.

Young people should keep a special eye out for the $5 Youth Movie Night which is a chance for high school students to watch Lego Batman Movie on Thursday, April 6 at the United Cinemas in Narellan.

Tickets, which can be purchased online here, include free popcorn and a drink.
