Urban Land Housing will launch stage two in The Acres this week, following unprecedented demand for stage one of the Tahmoor development.
Every single stage one lot was sold within 24 hours and a similar result is expected for stage two.
The Acres is a masterplanned development offering rural residential lots of more than 4,000 square metres each, which is around one acre.
Located at 165 – 195 River Road, Tahmoor, when completed The Acres will comprise 125 homesites spread over 110 hectares.
Each of these homesites will be more than 4,000 square metres.
“Over 1,000 people have registered their interest in The Acres, with more than 95 per cent being owner occupiers from Camden, Wollondilly and Macarthur regions,’’ says Christopher Lowry, the managing director of Urban Land Housing.
“The opportunity to purchase premium rural land lots in an idyllic country setting has been embraced by the locals.
“Whilst there are many developments in South West Sydney offering affordable, more compact options this is the only masterplanned community in the region offering premium sized 4,000 square metre plus residential lots,’’ Mr Lowry said.
“Purchasers in The Acres have recognised that they are buying the equivalent of 10 normal 400 sqm lots for around $700,000.”
The stage two release has been named The Pastures, and it comprises 20 rural residential homesites from 4,000 to 5,600 square metres.
Prices start from $705,000.
Design guidelines and protective covenants will be in place to ensure the asset value of the homes are enhanced and the community maintains its prestigious rural feel and consistency of character.
A large public park will also feature in the development. Several bespoke and leading project builders have provided a gallery of suitable ranch style home designs for purchasers to view.
Construction work will commence later this year with completion anticipated late 2018.
The Acres is situated within a 10 minute drive to Tahmoor’s train station and the historic village of Picton, 30 minutes from Camden, 40 minutes from Campbelltown and 45 minutes from the South Coast and Wollongong’s beautiful beaches.
Sydney is an 80 minute drive.
The Acres, which was previously a prestigious horse stud is bound by the Nepean River (to the east), Myrtle Creek (to the north), Bargo River (to the south) and rural land (to the west).
Bargo River and Myrtle Creek form confluences with the Nepean River, with a large natural pool located where the Nepean and Bargo Rivers converge.
