Pedestrian hit by car in Bargo construction site dies in hospital

A 28 year old woman who was hit by a car in a Bargo construction site five days ago has died in hospital.

Both police and Work Safe NSW are investigating the incident which occurred around 4.40pm on Thursday, April 30.

Emergency services responded to reports a pedestrian had been struck by a car in a construction site on Railside Avenue, Bargo.

Officers from Camden Police Area Command responded along with NSW Ambulance paramedics, who treated a 28-year-old woman before she was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle, a 55-year-old man, was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash commenced.

About 3.30pm on Sunday (May 3), police were notified that the woman had died.

A teenage boy who suffered critical injuries when his motorbike crashed into a fence last week has died in hospital.

Police say that about 4.30pm last Tuesday (April 28), emergency services were called to Nightingale Road Pheasants Nest, following reports of a single vehicle crash.

On arrival, officers attached Camden Police Area Command were told a 14-year-old boy had been ejected from a dirt bike following a collision with a fence.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being flown to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.

About 6.30pm the next day, (Wednesday, April 29), police were advised that the boy had died.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
