The NPL NSW Championship double-header this Sunday will bring the 2026 season to its ultimate conclusion, with two grand finals, four clubs and two champions to be crowned.
With four of the state’s leading teams converging on Jubilee Stadium, it promises to be a spectacular celebration of football, with Championship glory, history and bragging rights all on the line.
APIA Leichhardt and Sydney United 58 will go head to head for the NPL Men’s NSW Championship, while Bulls FC Academy and UNSW FC will meet in the NPL Women’s NSW decider.
The NPL Women’s NSW Grand Final will be, without a shadow of a doubt, a blockbuster contest.
The Bulls enter the decider as back-to-back Premiers after another dominant regular season and a huge 6-2 semi-final victory over Western Sydney Wanderers.
Marti Garces’ side raced to a 4-1 half-time lead before adding another two after the break, with six different players finding the back of the net in an emphatic display.
Standing in their way will be UNSW FC, who produced a superb 3-1 semi-final victory over APIA Leichhardt at The Village Green.
Demi Koulizakis scored twice to put the Students in control before Alexia Karrys-Stahl added a late third to secure their place in the decider.
UNSW will now have the opportunity to claim their second piece of silverware in 2026, while the Bulls will be looking to complete back-to-back Premiership and Championship doubles.
The NPL Men’s NSW Grand Final will see reigning Champions APIA Leichhardt return to the big stage as they chase back-to-back Championships after securing the 2026 Premiership.
APIA booked their place in the decider with a commanding 3-0 victory over NWS Spirit FC at Lambert Park, with Jack Stewart, Presley Ortiz and substitute Levi Sciuriaga finding the back of the net.
They will face Sydney United 58, who secured their Grand Final berth with a 3-1 victory over Manly United.
Julian Cop opened the scoring before Mason Wells produced a spectacular corner to restore United 58’s lead after Benjamin Koop had equalised for Manly. Tomislav Ozanic then sealed the victory in stoppage time.
United 58 will now look to cap a superb campaign with Championship glory after finishing second in the regular season and lifting the Waratah Cup earlier in the year.
