In 2024 a number of community organisations will be celebrating milestones, including 10 and 20 years of service to the community.
One of them is one of our most popular charities, the 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer, which will be celebrating its 20th year in 2024.
Started by the late Fred Borg in 2004, the charity has raised more than $5 million for our local cancer centres.
There will be a number of festive activities, including giving 24 Hour sponsors and supporters a chance to see and hear for themselves about the amazing contribution that 24 Hour funding has made to the people of Macarthur dealing with cancer.
This will include a tour of the world class, award-winning cancer therapy centre at Campbelltown Hospital in March.
