The popular Campbelltown City Challenge Walk returns to the picturesque grounds of the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan next month.
This year’s Challenge Walk will include a fresh element with a new ‘Colour Burst’ section of the track where participants will have the option to be blasted with vibrant colours before continuing along either the 6km or 11km walk.
People can register solo or can participate in a group – a great way to team up with family, friends, colleagues or gym buddies.
The walk, which will be on Sunday, March 12, will begin at 8am.
“The Challenge Walk is a popular event that many look forward to each year,” says Campbelltown Mayor George Greiss.
“The Colour Burst is an exciting addition to the event which I’m sure will be great fun for everyone, whether you’re participating with friends, family or colleagues,” Cr Greiss said.
“This is an all-inclusive event for anyone who may be looking to kick-start their fitness journey or just looking for a social day out,” he said.
The community health and fitness event will also see a variety of health and wellness stalls attending.
Attendees can enjoy warm up activities provided by Snap Fitness Campbelltown 24/7 as well as a stage presentation once the walk is complete.
A baggage minding area will be also be provided for participants.
Registrations are now open and are $18 online before the event or $28 on the day using EFTPOS.
