A man has been charged after a tip-off to Crime Stoppers led police to the discovery of cannabis being grown at a house in Campbelltown yesterday.
Following information received from the public, detectives attended a house in Lindesay Street about 3:30pm yesterday (Wednesday, September 10).
Police spoke to a 47-year-old man and conducted a search of the premises.
During the search it will be alleged police discovered the garage had been converted into two rooms with 35 cannabis plants and cannabis leaf located.
The man was arrested and taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with cultivating a prohibited plant by enhanced means.
He was granted conditional bail to appear in Campbelltown Local Court on October 13.
