Wests Tigers and Soldier On have signed a three year partnership agreement.

Wests Tigers have joined hands with Soldier On, the leading ex-servicemen and women organisation.

As part of a three-year agreement the Wests Tigers and Soldier On will work closely together to promote the great work that Soldier On does for those who have served our country.

Soldier On supports those who have served by focusing on their physical and mental health, their community and their future.

It has helped thousands as they have dealt with physical and psychological wounds from their service to our country.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe said that the club was proud of its partnership with Soldier On.

“Soldier On do outstanding work for those who have given so much for their country and we’re incredibly proud that our two organisations will be working together,” Pascoe said.

“This long-term agreement will see Soldier On join the club as a charity partner and allow us to use rugby league to promote their work.

Soldier On cofounder and CEO John Bale says the partnership with Wests Tigers will assist with awareness and raising vital funds and send a strong message to veterans that the community is rallying to support them.

“We are grateful to the West Tigers and we look forward to working with them to provide opportunities to support our veterans.’’

Under the agreement Wests Tigers will contest a Soldier On round each year.

The club and Soldier On will also be developing an NRL based sports recovery program and an internship for transitioning Soldier On participants.
