Campbelltown MP Greg Warren says he was thrilled to welcome members of the Ingleburn-Macarthur District National Servicemen’s Association on a tour of Parliament House last week.

The group visited Australia’s oldest parliament on Wednesday for a guided tour of both chambers.

The association contacted Mr Warren late last year to ask for the tour to be arranged.

Mr Warren said he welcomed the opportunity to welcome members of the association to Parliament House.

The Campbelltown MP said he encouraged other organisations from the Macarthur region interested in arranging a tour to contact him or his office.

“Campbelltown is blessed to be home to countless great groups and organisations who are passionate advocates for our community,’’ Mr Warren said.

“I’m honoured to have the opportunity to host the Ingleburn-Macarthur District National Servicemen’s Association at Parliament House.

“I hope to have the opportunity to host many more groups at parliament in the future.

“Ultimately, the parliament belongs to the people of NSW, and it’s good to have the opportunity to host members of the association in the incredibly historic NSW Parliament House,” Mr Warren said the tour.
