Adriana Care, from Coutts Solicitors & Conveyancers, has been a sponsor of the Ingham Institute luncheon since its inception three years ago.
Ms Care, who is also the president of the Greater Narellan Chamber of Commerce, is calling on all south west businesses to join her in supporting next year’s luncheon.
“Supporting medical research is critical as there are many diseases affecting the people in our community that, if left untreated, can have a dire impact on patients and their families,” Ms Care said.
“I am a proud sponsor of the Ingham Institute luncheon for two reasons.
“Number one is that it gives recognition to the fantastic work the Ingham Institute does to combat the diseases affecting our community.
“What’s also important to me is the luncheon recognises the incredible talents of the female researchers working at the institute to align with International Women’s Day.
[social_quote duplicate=”no” align=”default”]“As a female business leader, empowering women and celebrating their talents in a highly competitive field like medical research is something I’m very passionate about so it’s great to support a cause that is putting successful women in the spotlight,” Ms Care said.[/social_quote]
One of South West Sydney’s most popular social events, the 2016 Ingham Institute luncheon will be held at Camden Lakeside Golf and Country Club on Friday, March 4. Channel 7 Sunrise newsreader Natalie Barr will be the MC.
The luncheon will celebrate International Women’s Day, while also highlighting the institute’s research into diabetes – a disease which now has the highest incidence in South West Sydney.
One of the highlights will be Ingham Institute researcher Matthew Malone’s presentation about his group’s breakthrough work investigating new methods to improve the treatment and care of diabetes, especially diabetic foot disease.
Luncheon patron Lyn Ingham, daughter of institute founder Bob Ingham, is also calling on local business people to strongly get behind this important fundraising event.
“The South West is one of most generous communities in Sydney and we once again need to call out for support as we prepare to host our third annual Ingham Institute luncheon,” Ms Ingham said.
“I urge local businesses to consider the 2016 luncheon as part of their sponsorship and corporate social responsibility commitments in the New Year.
[social_quote duplicate=”no” align=”default”]“All levels of sponsorship are tax deductible and the funds raised from the day will greatly assist Ingham Institute researchers in their mission to find better ways to treat and eradicate health conditions that are affecting the people of South West Sydney and beyond.”[/social_quote]
Sponsorship for the event is priced to suit all budgets large and small, with the Dove and Butterfly sponsorship packages priced at $5000 and $2500 respectively.
Apart from the opportunity to align your business brand with a leading Australian medical research institute whose work is making a big difference to the health and lives of local people, both sponsorship opportunities offer significant value to sponsors.
This includes acknowledgement in media and marketing materials relating to the event and includes participation in a Trade Stall display at a luncheon expo preceding the main event.
