If you attend just one more charity golf day before the end of 2015 make sure it’s this one by Mounties.
There are two very good reasons why you should take part.
For one, the day is raising funds for one of the south west region’s great community organisations.
The Mounties golf day on Friday, December 11 at the wonderful Liverpool Golf Club course will be helping the Autism Advisory and Support Service (AASS).
Anyone with autism in the family knows this little group with a big heart always comes good when it’s needed.
But there’s a second reason you may want to consider attending: for an outlay of just $10 you could become the owner of a brand new Mercedes A45 valued at $82,000.
This is all part of the hole in one competition, on the par three 18th hole.
If more than one person is a winner, they will share the cash.
This is the second year of the Mounties charity golf day for AASS and will again start with 7am registration and breakfast, followed by a shotgun start an hour later for the ambrose competition over 18 holes.
The fun doesn’t stop when the golf is over because there will also be a presentation lunch, special guest speaker, trophy presentations, and both live and silent auctions.
The inaugural event brought together industry leaders, stakeholders and club supporters for a day of fun and enjoyment with a purpose and this year’s promises more of the same.
“All proceeds of this year’s golf day will be donated to the Autism Advisory and Support Service (AASS),’’ a Mounties spokesman said.
[social_quote duplicate=”no” align=”default”]“Based in Liverpool, AASS supports hundreds of local families who have a child or children with autism by providing a range of programs including therapy play, art, music, speech and occasional therapy in addition to its services to assist parents and schools.[/social_quote]
“AASS has extended this specialist support across Australia as the operator of the only 24 hour Autism hotline in the Southern Hemisphere.
“Mounties Group prides itself on its commitment to the community.
“We hope that you are able to support this day by expressing your interest in sponsorship and by registering a group of players for this fun day for a worthwhile cause.’’
The day offers a range of sponsorship packages to local business houses keen to promote both their product or service and their community spirit.
