The 2015 Group Six Rugby League grand final day will be hosted at Campbelltown Stadium, on Sunday, September 13.
It will be the culmination of a four week finals series in all five grades.
Group Six this week released details of venues and dates for its 2015 finals series:
♦ Week one of the finals will be heading to Sid Sharpe Oval, Oakdale for the opening day of the final series, on Saturday, August 22, before moving to Kirkham Park, Camden, on Sunday, August 23. This will be a first grade double header as one team from the top five is eliminated that day at Camden.
♦ Week two sees finals football head south, with Thirlmere Sportsground hosting action on Saturday, August 29, before moving just up the road to Victoria Park, Picton hours later on Sunday, August 30, where the second first grade double headers will be played.
♦ The preliminary finals will be held at Dudley Chesham Oval, The Oaks, on Sunday, September 6, with all five grades gracing the fields of play to fight for the final spot in the 2015 grand final.
♦ The last stop will be at the first class Campbelltown Stadium, when the grand finals are hosted in all grades on Sunday, September 13.
The five divisions will see the 2015 premiers crowned in their respective grades over the course of what will be a thrilling day of football.
Group Six Rugby League president Grahame Andrews said Group Six were grateful to Western Suburbs Junior Rugby League for their co-operation to help ensure a massive weekend of football takes place at Campbelltown Stadium.
Wests Juniors grand finals will be held on the Saturday, before Group Six on the Sunday.
“Their assistance has been invaluable to ensure both competitions are able to use this facility to showcase local rugby league across the Macarthur and South West Sydney,’’ he said.
Mr Andrews was delighted with the choice of venues for this year’s finals series.
