25 year old woman dies in car crash at Ingleburn

A 25 year old woman who was a passenger in a car has died following a crash near Campbelltown overnight.

About 11.40pm emergency services were called to Broadhurst Road, Ingleburn, after reports a Nissan Skyline had crashed into a truck parked near the intersection of Shaw Road.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and the front passenger, a 25-year-old woman, died at the scene. She is yet to be formally identified.

The driver, a 24-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing. He remains under police guard.

Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene and officers attached to the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.

Two girls missing from Campbelltown have been located safe.

The 11-year-old girls were last seen on Lindesay Street, Campbelltown yesterday morning (Thursday, August 3).

When they were unable to be contacted or located, officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command were notified, and commenced inquiries into their whereabouts.

Following inquiries, police located the girls safe and well in the afternoon.

Police would like to thank the community and media for their assistance.
