On the following day, Sunday, October 16, the focus turns to the Camden wedding expo in the civic centre with more than 40 exhibitors taking part.

From wedding attire to cakes, celebrants, ceremony locations and venues, entertainment, photography, videography and much more will be on hand for those planning to tie the knot in the next little while.

Camden mayor Therese Fedeli with Nicole Day from CharBella Cakes.

CharBella Cakes owner and chef Nicole Day, who specialises in cakes, cupcakes and cookies, said the event was equally rewarding for exhibitors.

“I’ve been involved with Camden wedding expo since 2017 and I have found it most beneficial to the growth of my business,” Ms Day said.

“I’ve gained so much out of this annual event, from gaining new customers to networking with fellow wedding suppliers. It’s also a perfect opportunity for me to showcase a range of display cakes, cookies and cupcakes as well as hand out samples.”
