He’s the winner of the 2020/21 Johnny Warren Medal and now Ulises Dávila is also a Bull – a Macarthur FC Bull.

The club have today confirmed the signing of the Mexican attacking midfielder for the next three seasons.
Davila, 30, who boasts under 50 A-League appearances during a two year stint at Wellington, was once signed to Premier League club Chelsea on a five-year deal.

Dávila, who will bring plenty of experience to the Bulls attack, scored seven goals and turned provider seven times for the Nix during their 2020/21 A-League campaign.

Speaking on his arrival to the Bulls, Dávila said:

“I’m very excited to be joining the Bulls and be part of this great project.

“Watching the club last season, I was very impressed with their debut in the league. I enjoyed watching them play and I could see how they play football, is how I like to play – exciting.”

“After spending a lot of time in Australia last season, I’m looking forward to playing in front of the Bulls fans at Campbelltown Stadium, as we look to achieve something special for the region,” Dávila said.

Macarthur FC head coach Ante Milicic said he was delighted to secure Davila’s services for the next three seasons.
“I’d like to welcome Ulises to our club,” he said.

“There is no doubt he will be an important addition to our squad, building on the foundations we have put in place in our first season.
“We know how dangerous he can be and I’m looking forward to seeing what he can bring to our club.”
