Australian rock band Thirsty Merc are set to headline a full line-up of rock and country acts as part of this year’s Sunset Sounds event at the Festival of Fisher’s Ghost on Saturday, November 9.
Presented in partnership with The Beer Shed Brewing Co, the 3pm to 10pm ticketed event will offer a full night of stage entertainment at Campbelltown Athletics Stadium, with food and drink options and a pop-up bar serving local craft beer and wine.
Sunset Sounds has quickly become one of the biggest events at The Festival of Fisher’s Ghost, inviting nationally recognised performers to Campbelltown.
Featured artists include, Thirsty Merc (pictured above), Kingswood, Brother Hollow, Ella Powell and the Wet Whistles.
Visitors are encouraged to use public transport to travel to the venue. Parking options are available at Leumeah Station commuter car park.
Tickets are already available at Ticketek through council’s website.
Free tickets are available for children under the age of 16, accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
Gates open at 3pm.

Entries are also open to another popular festival event, Fisher’s Ghost fun run.
Participants of all levels, young and old, can now register for the 2024 event on Sunday, November 10 on the grounds of Western Sydney University and the TAFE NSW Campbelltown campus.
Online entries close on November 6, with access to discounted entry fees for individuals and teams who book prior to early registration closing.
Competitors can also choose to register in-person at the event and pick up their bibs from 6.30am, before competing in their choice of course:
- 5km circuit; a casual track open to competitors 7 years and older;
- 10km circuit; a competitive track that loops twice, open to competitors 12 years and older.
