Calling all foodies and families: get ready to indulge all your senses at the annual Taste Camden event later this month.

This year Taste Camden will be held on Sunday, September 22, noon to 5pm at Camden Town Farm.

It will once again offer delicious food, drinks, live music and kids activities in a perfect setting – picturesque scenery overlooking the surrounding open pastures of the Town Farm.

“We are thrilled to see the beloved Taste Camden return with a spectacular lineup of live music performances, a selection of multicultural food, a celebrity chef and so much more,” says Camden Council general manager Andrew Carfield.

“The event draws more than 10,000 people each year, and I’m looking forward to seeing attendees, from near and afar, come along to this iconic event,” he said.

The delicious event will feature some of the best food trucks and stalls, offering a smorgasbord of culinary creations to enjoy, whether you’re a fan of seafood, barbecue meats or something a little more exotic.

A live cooking demonstration from celebrity chef Steph De Sousa – featured on hit television series Masterchef – will heat up the outdoor kitchen as she prepares tantalising dishes to inspire everyone’s love of cooking using simple pantry ingredients and fresh local produce.

A licensed bar will serve up a variety of craft beers and wines from local and regional wineries, to help quench your thirst and tantalise your palate.

A main stage arena will entertain audiences with live music performances, presenting an eclectic blend of soul musicians including The Honey Sippers, Joe Moore, Frankie and Charles, Carly Mosney, Taste of Soul, Jack Willis and Georgie Lyons.

Revellers can also browse an outdoor market, exploring a mixture of stalls selling gourmet nuts, small goods, freshly baked bread and other take home treats.

But the fun doesn’t stop there.

There will also be a range of kid’s activities including face painting, an inclusive space and a kids cooking experience where little chefs can whip up their own culinary delights.
