Seven teenage males have been charged over a stabbing at Glenfield railway station late last month.
Police say that two teenage males aged 15 and 18 were travelling on a train around 9.30pm on February 25 when they were allegedly threatened with a knife by a group of males.
After getting off the train at Glenfield Railway Station, the group of teenage males were joined by more males – police say there were about 10 of them in total. The youngest was aged 12, and the oldest 19.
It is alleged they attacked the two teenage males, stabbing the 18 year old multiple times and hitting him on the head with bottle.
While the group fled the scene following the alleged assault, the two victims were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics. They were taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition and were subsequently released.
Following a search of the area, officers attached to Police Transport Command arrested two boys – aged 12 and 13 – a short distance away.
They were taken to Campbelltown Police Station where they were charged with affray to appear in a Children’s Court on March 27.
Following further inquiries, last Friday officers executed two search warrants at homes in Ingleburn and Macquarie Fields, and arrested five additional males – two aged 19, and three aged 16.
A 19-year-old was charged with several offences, including wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court last Saturday.
The second 19-year-old was also charged with assault and affray and he too was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.
A 16-year-old boy was charged with several offences, including wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and bail refused to appear before a Children’s Court today (Monday).
Another 16-year-old boy was charged with assault and affray, was bail refused to also appear before a Children’s Court today.
One 16-year-old boy was released on conditional bail to appear before a Children’s Court on April 3, to face three charges.

In a separate incident, a man has been charged over a break-in at Glenfield last Thursday which saw another man hospitalised.
Emergency services were called to a home in Britannia Drive around 8pm following reports of an alleged break and enter.
Police will allege a man broke into the property and, while inside, struck an 18-year-old man in the head with a tomahawk.
The other occupants inside the house, two women, aged 53 and 29, were not injured.
The 18-year-old man was treated on the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.
Following extensive inquiries, a 24-year-old man was arrested at a home in Blacktown on Saturday.
He was charged with aggravated entry to a dwelling with intent while armed, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Sunday.
