Developer Castle Group will host a free South West Family Fun Day next month which is expected to attract thousands of people from across the region for an afternoon of delicious food, entertainment, and family-friendly fun.
Organised through Castle Group’s charitable arm, The Perera Foundation, the fun day on Sunday, September 21, will include free food stalls, kids’ activities, market stalls, live entertainment and local community stalls.
The day will also feature a preview of The Canopy – Castle Group’s new 550-lot community coming soon to Austral.
Castle Group managing director Ritchie Perera says the event is about celebrating the growth and vibrancy of communities in South West Sydney.
“As a leading residential land developer in the area, we’re proud to be part of the South West community,’’ he said.
“Organising this Family Fun Day is just one way in which we’re giving back to our community,” Mr Perera said.
Event highlights include free food stalls serving fried rice, noodles, biryani, barbecue, gozleme, and pizza and refreshments.
There will also be free kids’ activities including a jumping castle, animal farm, face painting, arts and crafts, fairy floss, and popcorn.
Vibrant market stalls, stage performances, live music, and community-run stalls are also part of the fun day.
