Police search bushland at Picton for missing teenage girl

There are currently three active missing persons cases in outer South West Sydney – two of them reported by NSW Police Force today.

Police are currently searching bushland for Katelyn Phillis, aged 13, last seen in Picton, pictured below, about 9.30pm last night (Wednesday).

When she was unable to be contacted or located officers from Camden Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts where it is believed she may have entered bushland near the Picton township.

Local police with support from PolAir have been searching the area since 9am.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Katelyn’s welfare.

Katelyn, pictured, is described as being Caucasian appearance, 160cm, medium build and shoulder length blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a pink crop top and blue shorts.

Katelyn is known to frequent the Picton, Wilton, Bargo and Tahmoor areas.

Anyone with information into Katelyn’s whereabouts is urged to contact Camden Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate Kayden Craven, aged 14, last seen in Oran Park about 5am last Saturday (January 6).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Camden Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare due to his age.

Kayden, pictured at right, is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall with medium build, blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, Nike-branded shoes and a backpack.

He is known to frequent the Oran Park, Fairfield, Liverpool, Eastern Beaches and North Shore areas.

Anyone who sights Kayden or has information into his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The third missing person case is 84 year old Leslie Luke, aged 84, last seen in Kensington Drive, Harrington Park about 3pm on Monday (January 8).

Family and police hold serious concerns for Leslie’s welfare as he requires regular medication.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, medium build with grey hair and brown eyes.

Leslie, pictured at right, is believed to be driving a silver Honda CRV NSW registration LL896, and known to frequent the Oran Park, Green Valley and Narellan areas.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to contact Narellan police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
