Two romps in a row for Harlequins

As the pointy end of the season approaches, the script from last season looks like repeating for the Campbelltown Harlequins, reports ANDREW CHOICE.

After another wonderful performance on the weekend, the Quinnies are now certain to again play final football.

But as in last season, what they won’t know until the final match of the home and away season is played is where they will finish on the ladder.

At this stage, it looks like second or third.

On Saturday they headed down to the ‘Gong to take on Tech Tahs and were just too good for the home side, winning 73-7.

Following on from last week’s record win over the Vikings, the boys from Campbelltown just resumed in the same manner, posting 11 tries to bag the two premiership points and head home.

In second grade, Harlequins continued their push for a finals appearance with a convincing 47-24 victory over Tech Tahs.

This weekend will be the last chance for their fans to catch them at home when the Harlequins host Shamrocks at Campbelltown Showground.

Three games are on the card, with the Harlequins women’s side hosting Gordon from 12 noon.

The men’s second grade clash will follow, with a 1.30pm kick off and the Harlequins needing to win to keep their push for a final spot alive.

As for first grade, after scoring 193 points in their last two games they deserve some extra support from their fans or anyone who loves a good game of rugby.

The first grade will kick off at 3pm, so see you all there.
