
A man has been charged following an alleged road rage incident in Camden Valley Way, Leppington last Sunday morning.
Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command responding to reports of an incident were told a 45-year-old man had been struck by a car.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.
The driver – a 24-year-old man – was arrested at the scene and underwent mandatory testing, allegedly returning a positive result for cannabis.
During a subsequent search of the man’s vehicle, police also allegedly located an amount of cannabis.
He was taken to Narellan Police Station where he has been charged with predatory driving and possessing a prohibited drug.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Picton Local Court on Thursday, November 6.

Police are investigating after two public place shootings were reported at separate locations near Liverpool.
About 1am on Friday (October 17), emergency services were called to a home on Bluegum Avenue, Prestons, following reports shots were fired.
Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command arrived to find unknown people had fired at least two shots at a home before leaving the scene in a car.
Just 20 minutes later emergency services were called to Greenway Drive, West Hoxton, following reports of shots fired.
Officers arrived to find unknown people had fired at least two shots into the air at a roundabout, before leaving the scene in a car.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
Police established a crime scene at both locations and Liverpool City detectives have commenced an investigation into the incidents.
