Police are continuing their efforts to locate the driver of an SUV that crashed into a Macquarie Fields house landing on a bed on Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to Evelyn Street about 4.20am and arrived to find a white Porsche Macan had hit an electricity transformer before continuing through a front fence and through the front wall of a single storey house into the bedroom, coming to rest on top of a bed.
Fortunately, there was no one home at the time and there’s been no reports of injuries.
Police say two people were seen leaving the scene.
Inquiries are now under way to determine the cause of the crash and the identity of those involved.
