Coming in third was The Grange Public School, which won a $2,000 share of the money on offer.

The winning schools will put their prizemoney towards much-needed equipment for the benefit of their students.

Sarah Redfern High School, Campbellfield Public School and Sarah Redfern Public School were the other three local schools that took part in Whose School’s Cool.

“Firstly, Minto Mall wishes to acknowledge and thank the six participating schools and the thousands of shoppers for their support during the three-month promotion of Whose School’s Cool,’’ says Michael Prestia, Minto Mall centre manager.

“At Minto Mall, we are proud to serve our wonderful community and are committed to continuing in our efforts to introduce new initiatives that will make a difference.

“Since the 2013 re-launch of the centre and under the new ownership, Minto Mall has been at one with the community, supporting our local schools, clubs and charities,’’ he said.

“We will continue to embrace the community’s cultural diversity, while working and growing together as one.

“And we will also continue to applaud our local schools which are growing in student numbers, continuing to provide excellence in education to open doors for our future young leaders.

“On behalf of the Minto Mall centre management, the retailers and their staff, we wish to thank each member of our wonderful community for their ongoing support,’’ Mr Prestia said.

As part of Whose School’s Cool, Minto Mall also gave out three $500 Woolworths vouchers, drawn from the pool of customers who voted in this popular initiative.

The winners were (January) Amanda Welch, (February) Donna Burgin and (March) Amanda Lagerlow.
