
Campbelltown and the rest of the Macarthur region are set to party as part of the 2026 Australia Day celebrations today, Monday, January 26.
The Great Aussie Get Together will be at Koshigaya Park from 4pm to 9pm, and everyone’s invited.
As well as stage performances, food and drink vendors, kids’ activities, and fireworks show, you will be able to join the record attempt for Macarthur’s Biggest Nutbush Dance.
“The Great Aussie Get Together is a chance for everyone to come together and enjoy a fantastic day out in our city centre,” says Mayor Darcy Lound.
“I can’t wait to see the crowds join us again this year for a day of entertainment, family fun and community spirit.’’
A full line-up of stage performers is planned for the day, featuring DJ Steve-Blitz, Leah and Bill, Corey Legge & The Legacy, The Crowdies Show and Elly-May Barnes.
Kids’ activity stations will be available throughout the event, including giant inflatables, a water slide and water obstacle course.
The Great Aussie Get Together is assisted by the Australian Government through the National Australia Day Council.
Camden Council will mark Australia Day with the ever-so popular Macarthur Lions Street Parade in Camden.
Residents are encouraged to head down to Argyle Street in Camden from 9am this morning to see some incredible pre-parade roving entertainment, and then at 10am enjoy the much-loved Macarthur Lions Australia Day Street Parade which will conclude at 11am.
Wollondilly’s Australia Day celebrations will be held in the Picton Botanic Gardens from 8am to 12 noon.
Liverpool’s Australia Day celebration will be held at Woodward Park, next to the Whitlam Leisure Centre, from 5pm to 10pm.
This free, all-ages event promises a lively and inclusive atmosphere.
