Everyone in Campbelltown is invited to celebrate New Year’s Eve at a special community event at Koshigaya Park this Sunday, December 31.

Festivities will begin at 7pm, with family friendly stage entertainment, kids’ activities, food trucks, carnival rides, market stalls and fireworks displays at 9pm and midnight.

“Join us as we celebrate the end of 2023 and bring in the New Year with a fantastic celebration led by a variety of local entertainers and musicians,” says Campbelltown Mayor George Greiss.

“This year’s event at Koshigaya Park looks to be one of our biggest yet, so I encourage everyone to join us for what is shaping up to be a wonderful night of family fun,” he said.

A full stage line-up has been planned for the New Year’s Eve event, including performances from Tori Darke Duo, Gemma Navarrete, MacDaddy Band, Sweet Ophelia and ABBA tribute performers ABBASBACK.

A variety of food stalls will trade along a closed section of Hurley Street throughout the night and carnival rides are available with the purchase of ride coupons online or at the event.

Road closures will prevent access to Hurley Street and Camden Road on the day.

Public parking is available to visitors at the Campbelltown Mall carpark and surrounding CBD locations.

Further north in Liverpool, the town will welcome the new year with a dazzling array of fireworks and a free concert at a gala promotion at Warwick Farm racecourse on December 31.

Celebrations will soar as high as the rockets and fireworks that will light up the skies as the community says farewell to 2023 and welcomes in 2024.

The exciting, family orientated programme will turn Warwick Farm Racecourse into a colourful backdrop for music and carnival rides in the lead-up to the fireworks at 9pm.
