Missing Campbelltown teenager Krystal found safe

Krystal Studdon, the missing teenage girl from Campbelltown who was last seen wearing a Lomandra school orange and navy blue jumper, has been found.

The 13 year old was found in the Sydney CBD this morning.

She had been spotted at Central Railway Station yesterday and information from the public helped police find her.

Campbelltown police launched an appeal to find Krystal, who had gone missing last Thursday and was last seen leaving the area near Campbelltown Hospital.

Police have thanked the media and the community for their assistance in sharing the appeal.

A man has been arrested and charged over the stabbing of a woman in Tahmoor yesterday.

He has been refused bail and will appear in Campbelltown Local Court today.

Emergency services were called to a business on York Street following reports of a violent domestic about 10.40am.

Police say that on arrival officers found a 32-year-old woman suffering lacerations to her hands, and a fractured wrist.

She was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Campbelltown Hospital for treatment.

A 62-year-old man was arrested at the scene and also taken to hospital for assessment.

Upon his release, he was taken to Narellan Police Station where he was charged with two counts of domestic violence – wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

A serving police officer has been charged over alleged misconduct.

The senior constable, who is currently on leave without pay, was granted conditional bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court today.

In March 2020, an investigation was launched after reports of alleged domestic violence related incidents.

Following inquiries, a 32-year-old senior constable, attached to a command in Sydney’s south-west, was arrested last Wednesday.

He faces three counts of common assault, use carriage service to menace/harass/offend; and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm.
