Public asked to help find missing Campbelltown teen

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate this teenage boy reported missing from Campbelltown.

Jack Hunt, aged 16, was last seen on Beverley Road, near the town centre, about 2.30pm two days ago on Monday.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Jack’s welfare due to his age.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, large build, with brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue-green school uniform.

He is known to frequent the Campbelltown, Liverpool Prestons, and Macquarie Fields, and Coffs Harbour areas.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

In good news on the missing persons front, an elderly man reported missing has been located safe and sound.

The 86-year-old was last seen on Lasso Road, Gregory Hills about 12.45pm yesterday (Tuesday).

When he could not be located or contacted, police were notified and officers from Camden Police Area Command commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Following inquiries, the man was located about 9.30pm last night.

Police said they would like to thank the community and the media for their assistance.
