Plans for a display village at the giant Menangle Park residential development have received the green light from council.

Dahua Group Australia say construction will start later this year and be completed around 12 months later.

The company says the display village will showcase the best in modern home designs nationally from over 15 established and highly respected builders, including Masterton Homes, Clarendon Homes, and Eden Brae.

It will feature innovative designs created for blocks ranging from 375sqm to 900sqm, with a mix of brand new home designs as well as some of the most popular family floorplans providing inspiration for a new or existing family home.

The homes will not only be aesthetically attractive, but they will also set the standard in quality and contribute to a real sense of neighbourhood character and community at Menangle Park.

Robert Fischer, associate director of development, said Menangle Park’s new display village will be a ground-breaking hub of information and inspiration for those seeking the latest in architectural design and building techniques.

“The future display village will offer a unique experience for homebuyers looking to build a home in Sydney’s thriving South Western corridor and will offer world class trends and technological and sustainable advances in home design.

“This includes everything from single and double storey solutions for building on sloped or cornered blocks, to energy efficient living concepts, – there will home designs to suit all lifestyles and budgets,” Mr Fischer said.

More than 3,000 new homes will be built at the Menangle Park development, which stretches across both sides of the Hume Highway.

Homes built so far are easy to spot for anyone driving along Menangle Road – they have striking white roofs.
