A man has been charged with murder and another charged with affray as investigations continue into the death of a man following a brawl outside a home in Ingleburn last year.

Detectives investigating the death charged a fourth man, aged 19, with murder. He was refused bail to appear in court.

A 21-year-old man was also arrested, and he was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with affray. He was also refused bail to appear in court.

The incident occurred on May 24 last year when emergency services were called to Chester Road, Ingleburn, after reports of a brawl involving a large group of people.

The brawl is believed to have begun during a party at a home on Chester Road, before it spilled onto the street.

Upon the arrival of officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command the crowds began to disperse.

An 18-year-old man was located on the roadway with serious head injuries.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, who conveyed him to Liverpool Hospital, where he later died.

Detectives from Campbelltown have so far charged three men – then aged 17, and two aged 18 – with murder, a 27-year-old woman with concealing a serious indictable offence and being an accessory after the fact to murder, a 15-year-old girl with concealing a serious offence, and a 19-year-old woman with concealing a serious offence. They all remain before the courts.
