
The man in the picture being arrested by police has been charged and will face Campbelltown Court today over the domestic violence incident that resulted in a woman taken to hospital with critical injuries.
It’s alleged she was assaulted and run over in her Narellan Vale driveway yesterday morning.
Emergency services called to Maddison Court about 8.30am found the 36-year-old woman suffering multiple injuries as a result of being assaulted and driven over.
She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being airlifted to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.
Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command initiated a search to locate a man police believed could assist with inquiries into the incident.
Shortly before 11am, a man aged 36 was arrested in a phone box near Camden Valley Way.
He was taken to Narellan Vale Police Station where he was charged with seven offences.
They included reckless grievous bodily harm (domestic violence), reckless wounding in company (domestic violence), common assault (domestic violence), grievous bodily harm by negligent act – vehicle, learner unaccompanied, take and drive conveyance without consent of owner and destroy/damage property (domestic violence).
The man has been refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court today (Thursday, December 11).
