The big player signings are done and dusted and now the Wests Tigers have put another big piece of the puzzle in place: a major sponsor.

Last week the club announced that Pepper Money will be the major sponsor for the next three seasons.

The multi-million-dollar deal will see Pepper Money worn on the front of both the NRL and NRLW team jerseys.

In addition, Pepper Money will maintain its prominent presence on Wests Tigers’ NRL and NRLW coaching apparel and coaches’ box, continuing its support across both leagues as it has for the past two seasons.

Wests Tigers unveiled their new-look playing jerseys for the 2025 season at a sponsorship launch last week attended by current and former players, corporate partners, Wests Tigers members, and government representatives.

Wests Tigers CEO Shane Richardson said the partnership marked the biggest sponsorship deal in the club’s 25-year history.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have Pepper Money as our new major partner, and this is a great day in the history of this club,’’ Mr Richardson said.

“Not only is this new partnership the biggest deal we have ever done, but it is also a whole-of-club sponsorship incorporating both our NRL and NRLW teams.

“Pepper Money is a leader in the non-bank industry, providing opportunity and value to Aussies who require a real-life approach to their lending needs,’’ the club CEO said.

“In many ways we are well aligned, with a large customer base across Sydney’s Inner West and South-West.

“Pepper Money, much like the Wests Tigers, is committed to promoting and supporting the community and promoting inclusivity.

“Wests Tigers now has one of the most divergent and prestigious portfolios of sponsors in the NRL and we look forward to strengthening this relationship in the years to come.”

Pepper Money CEO, Mario Rehayem, highlighted the importance of community presence in this new deal.

“We are incredibly proud to partner with Wests Tigers to become the club’s new major partner for the next three seasons,” Mr Rehayem said.

“Our shared passion for community engagement will be a key focus of our work with Wests Tigers across the next three years. This commitment is further strengthened by our partnership with the club’s community arm, Wests Tigers Empower.

“We see a bright future ahead for the Wests Tigers, just as we do for our customers.

“Pepper Money is in the business of helping people to succeed, which is at the core of our mission. We’re proud to be a part of both the Tigers’ and our customers’ success stories,” Mr Rehayem said.

Pepper Money is positioned as the home of loan options, offering home, car, commercial, personal, and self-managed super fund loans.

“We also see our continued partnership as an opportunity to educate and empower more Australians that may have diverse financial backgrounds, to understand their options,” Mr Rehayem said.

As well as bold branding on apparel worn by head coaches Benji Marshall and Brett Kimmorley, Pepper Money will also appear on Wests Tigers’ media backdrop and coaches’ box at all Wests Tigers NRL and NRLW home games in 2025.

The sponsorship deal will officially commence at the start of the 2025 season, with a series of events and activations planned throughout the partnership.

Fans can look forward to enhanced game-day experiences, competitions, impactful community initiatives, and exclusive content, bringing them closer to the action than ever before.

Wests Tigers’ first game of the 2025 Telstra Premiership is against the Newcastle Knights on Friday, March 7 at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

The club’s first game in the Telstra Women’s Premiership in 2025 is against the Broncos in Brisbane on Saturday, July 5.
