The match of the round in Football NSW League One men this weekend is heading south to Campbelltown’s Lynwood Park.

Macarthur Rams FC will host Dulwich Hill FC tomorrow night (April 22) in this round 12 fixture, with the match kicking off at 7pm.

The two clubs have recently parted ways with their head coach, so they will both be desperate to move forward with a victory in this one.

Macarthur Rams, the most recent to undergo such a change, sit in 12th position on the ladder.

The Rams will come into this vital match having suffered defeat in four of their last five.

Last weekend was their first match in 2023 without Brett Hewit in the dugout, conceding a goal to Inter Lions in injury time to go down 4-3.

Anthony Proia is the head of their attack scoring 10 of Macarthur’s 16 goals this season, while Christian Torreli scored a brace last weekend.

Their opposition Dulwich Hill sit four points behind their opponents this weekend in 13th place.

Having also parted ways with their head coach, a couple weeks ago, they’ve shown improvement under the leadership of Tony Valavanis.

In recent weeks, they have somewhat stemmed the number of goals they have conceded against Hills United and Rydalmere Lions.

However, it is in front of goal where they will need to show improvement having scored just nine times this season.

Either way, it’s set to be a hard-fought contest at Lynwood Park this Saturday night, April 22.

For those who don’t know, the Football NSW League One Men’s is the top tier league of men’s football in NSW. The competition consists of 16 teams competing in a round-robin structure where each side plays one another twice and on completion a Premier is crowned.
