The biggest highlight of Camden’s Kids Fun Day 2025? A live, interactive performance from none other than Paddington Bear himself.
Yep, it’s true, the world’s most lovable, marmalade-eating bear, Paddington Bear, will be the star turn at this year’s event on Wednesday, September 10.
Families are invited to join the fun on from 10am to 2pm at Julia Reserve Community Centre, for a day packed with activities designed especially for children aged up to five years of age.
The little ones will get to sing, dance and giggle along with Paddington in one of four paw-some shows:
- Session one – 10.15-10.45am;
- Session two – 11.15-11.45am;
- Session three – 12.15-12.45pm; and
- Session four – 1.15-1.45pm.
But the fun doesn’t stop there, with colourful face painting, an inclusive play space; a visit from a real firetruck as well as food, clothing and handy information stalls also part of the fun program.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Ashleigh Cagney, said the free event was a wonderful celebration for local families.
“Paddington Bear has been capturing hearts for generations and we are thrilled to welcome him to Camden,” she said.
“This event always promises a day of fun, laughter and activities and this year will be no different.
“It’s always so beautiful to see young families making memories that will last a lifetime down at Kids Fun Day, so I really do encourage you all to come along and enjoy!”
