A Campbelltown woman is proving good fortune and good hearts go hand in hand, planning to buy her parents a house with her $2 million Lotto Strike win.

She held the only division one winning entry nationally in Lotto Strike draw 5864 last night (Monday, June 1), worth a cool $2 million.

When an official from The Lott called the winner, her head was still spinning after checking her ticket the night before.

“Oh my god! I’ve been waiting for your call!” she said.

“I checked my ticket last night and couldn’t believe it! I only slept about three hours after that.

“I called my husband who was driving and I said, ‘You better pull over!’. I can’t repeat what he replied with but just know it was a lot of profanities.

“It’s a dream come true!”

Despite becoming a newly minted-millionaire overnight, the kind-hearted woman who has only been identified as a Campbelltown resident, only had one immediate plan for her fortune.

“We’ve already spoken about it and first and foremost, we’re going to buy a house for my parents,” she said.

“They’re renting and it’s been tough for them. Then we’ll have a think about the rest. We’ll probably save it for a rainy day.”

A young AFL player from Campbelltown is on the way to becoming a big star of the game.

Caleb May has been taken at Pick 9 in the 2026 AFL mid-season draft by the Western Bulldogs.

The 21 year old imposing ruckman is an Ingleburn junior who came through the ranks at the South West Sydney Blues, developing into one of the club’s finest success stories.

Caleb was also a member of the Sydney Swans Academy and represented the Allies in their 2023 national championships triumph.

Making his senior debut in 2022 with the Blues, who play out of Bob Prenter Oval at Macquarie Fields, Caleb quickly established himself as a key figure in the club’s rise, playing in back-to-back Platinum Division premierships in 2022 and 2023.

His outstanding performances during the club’s first season in Premier Division saw him crowned the AFL Sydney men’s rising star in 2024.

That form earned Caleb an interstate move to West Adelaide in the SANFL, where he has developed into one of the competition’s most dominant big men.

Following an outstanding start to the 2026 season, Caleb was selected to represent the SANFL in its clash against the WAFL, another proud achievement in what continues to be an exciting football journey.

A much loved figure at the Blues, Caleb will always be part of the club, who posted on their social media “we wish him nothing but the best for this next chapter in his football journey and know he’ll represent the Blues proudly wherever he goes.’’
