McDonald’s has opened a new restaurant in Leppington Central, injecting $12 million into the local economy and creating 120 jobs.

It will host a grand opening on Saturday, January 18, that will include an appearance from Ronald McDonald, face painting, games, giveaways and more activities for the kids, as well as offers on menu items.

“We are excited to open our doors on McDonald’s Leppington Central and provide jobs, training and development opportunities for the local community,’’ says Sahar Saleh, operations manager for McDonald’s Leppington Central.

“The new restaurant will provide customers with a friendly and convenient place to access food and drinks, whether they’re popping in for a quick coffee or staying for lunch.

“As a local business, we are proud to support local charities and groups that are important to our customers and people, including Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney, Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation, Youth Solutions and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

“We look forward to serving up our great tasting, quality menu and providing feel good moments for our customers.”

The new restaurant is fitted with modern décor and features a dual lane drive through, dedicated partner delivery room, McCafé and PlayPlace.

McDonald’s Leppington Central is fully equipped with solar panels, a heat recovery water system and LED lighting, helping to reduce emissions and energy use in the restaurant.

It also features wheel stops containing recycled materials in the car park.

McDonald’s is currently hiring a variety of crew, barista, management and maintenance roles in restaurants across Camden. For more information or to apply for a role, please click here.

“McDonald’s invests millions of dollars into training and development initiatives each year, offering nationally recognised certifications in the food and retail sectors,’’ Mr Saleh said.
