The A-League off season might be the longest of any football competition in the world, but considering the amount of player movements between clubs it’s just as well.

Macarthur Bulls FC is no exception, having announced several departures and plenty of new arrivals ahead of the 2026-27 season.

The most recent new signing was revealed this week, and it was a good one.

Midfielder Kosta Grozos will be wearing Bulls colours this coming season after inking a deal with the club.

Grozos joins the Bulls from the Newcastle Jets, who he captained in a highly successful 2025/26 campaign that saw the club lift the Australia Cup and secure the A-League Men Premiership.

A composed and reliable presence in midfield, he made 125 appearances for the Jets during his time in Newcastle.

Across those appearances Grozos contributed six goals and eight assists, showcasing his ability to influence matches at both ends of the pitch.

The 25-year-old now arrives in South West Sydney to strengthen the Bulls’ midfield stocks alongside Liam Rose as the club continues to build its squad for the upcoming season.

“I’m very excited to have signed for the club, I can’t wait for the season to start,” Grozos said of his move to Macarthur Bulls FC.

“I was ready for a change and to come back home, Macarthur were a perfect fit.

“I will always put the team first and I’ll bring experience and leadership to the team.”

Grozos may even be wearing Bulls colours sooner rather than later if selected in the squad to open the club’s 2026 Australia Cup campaign in South Australia on Wednesday, July 22.
