Jacob Liddle finally back after a year out with injury

Jacob Liddle, the heir apparent to Robbie Farah, finally returns to footy this Sunday against the Bulldogs at Bankwest Stadium.

Liddle has not played in first grade for more than 12 months while recovering from a serious knee injury.

His return couldn’t be better timed with gun hooker Harry Grant on the sidelines with injury as well.

Moses Mbye filled in for Grant in last week’s humiliating 44-4 defeat to the Newcastle Knights, but the less said about that the better.

Head coach Michael Maguire, who’s been in the spotlight in the media since the loss to the Knights, has also recalled Josh Reynolds, who will come off the bench against his old club in the round 14 clash.

Moses Mbye shift back to centre and Tommy Talau to the wing, with last week’s debutant Asu Kepaoa dropping back to the reserves.

Josh Reynolds replaces the injured Billy Walters, while Luke Garner starts in the back row for Chris Lawrence, who takes the place of Shawn Blore on the bench.

Alex Twal (sternum) remains sidelined for another week while Harry Grant (knee) and Zane Musgrove (foot) are also unavailable for selection.
