Ingleburn man listed as missing after failing to return from work

Police are appealing for public assistance as the search continues to locate a man reported in the early hours of this morning.

Matthew Russell, aged 42 was last seen at an address at Lancaster Street, Ingleburn about 3am today (Thursday, July 13).

When he failed to return home after work and could not be contacted, officers from Camden Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Mr Russell’s vehicle was located a short distance from his home with what appears to be accident damage.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Mr Russell.

The missing man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 185cm tall, of medium build, with a shaved head, blue eyes, and red beard. He has a Vikings tattoo on his thigh.

He was last seen wearing a high vis vest and dark cargo pants.

Mr Russell is believed to still be in the Narellan, Mount Annan or Elderslie area.
