Young families and first home buyers are set to be the first residents of Birling with 99 residential lots in Stage 1 officially registered and settled in December.

The strong early uptake reflects growing demand from buyers seeking a connected family friendly lifestyle in Western Sydney’s fast evolving growth corridor.

Birling says it has resonated particularly with first home buyers looking for long term community value, green spaces and walkable neighbourhood design.

One of the first purchasers in Stage 1, Daniella Sultana, said she was excited to build her first home in Birling.

“From the moment I heard about Birling, I knew I had to be part of this amazing new community. What stood out to me was its prime location close enough to Camden and Narellan but far enough to feel like a true hidden gem.

“Having been to the Bradfield site through a school excursion, I saw firsthand the potential of the area and knew I wanted to live nearby,” Ms Sultana said.

The registration of Stage 1 also marks an important chapter for family owned Cameron Brae Group.

While the business has delivered major developments across Sydney for over 60 years Birling is the first master planned community the Hazlett family has fully owned, delivered and will continue to manage not as a joint venture, but as a long-term legacy project.

The opening of Hazlett Boulevard, the primary entry road connecting Birling to The Northern Road, further cements this milestone.

Members of the Hazlett family honoured the moment at a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week (pictured above), standing where thousands of future residents will one day arrive home.

“As a family business, Birling represents a deeply personal milestone. It’s the first master planned community that Cameron Brae has fully owned and delivered from the ground up,” said Andrew Hazlett, board director and son of founder David Cameron Hazlett.

“Dad always believed in creating places that would stand the test of time. To see the community coming to life and know that families will build their own stories here, is something we’re incredibly proud of.”

Cameron Brae Group CEO Angus Dawson said the progress reflects both the confidence buyers have placed in the development and the commitment to delivering a liveable, enduring community.

“Birling is a place where families can build a bright future,’’ he said.

“The registration of Stage 1 and the opening of Hazlett Boulevard represent significant milestones not only for the project, but for Cameron Brae’s future as a community creator.”
