The WomenCan Team Teal campaign returns to harness racing and Club Menangle is jumping back on board in support of the good fight.
Nineteen women are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer in Australia every day, with diagnosis expected to surge by 21 percent over the next 10 years.
Each year, Team Teal aims to raise vital funds and awareness for research into improving detection and driving breakthroughs in gynaecological cancer treatments.
Tracks right across Australasia including Club Menangle will host WomenCan Team Teal fundraising races between February 1 and March 15.
Club Menangle will hold 12 race meetings across the six-week campaign and have committed to donating $200 for every female driving win in the “teal’’ pants at their track and $200 for every female training win recorded at Menangle.
“We are proud to be participating in the Team Teal campaign for 2026,’’ says Club Menangle chief executive officer Bruce Christison.
“The harness racing community unites in support of this worthy cause each year, and it is great to see the teal pants in action across tracks in Australia and New Zealand.
“Throughout the 2026 campaign, Club Menangle will hold our flagship event, the Carnival of Miracles, which will see the teal pants showcased across Night One, the Livamol Chariots of Fire and Night Two, the Miracle Mile.
“We wish the best of luck to all participants competing in the Teal pants throughout February and March.”
