Local groups, organisations and residents are invited to apply for up to $10,000 in grant funding to host their community-led events and activations as part of the 2026 Festival of Fisher’s Ghost.
But they will have to be quick because applications will close on Sunday, September 20.
Successful recipients will host their associated events between Monday, October 26 and Sunday, November 15 as part of The Festival of Fisher’s Ghost celebrations this year recognising the 70th anniversary of the festival and the 200th anniversary of the original ghost sighting.
“This year’s Festival of Fisher’s Ghost is a significant milestone, with a signature anniversary program offering plenty of exciting ways for our community to come together and celebrate,” Mayor of Campbelltown Darcy Lound said.
“Fred’s Grants is a chance for us to support the community in bringing their big ideas to life and host their own associated events as part of the wider festival program,” Cr Lound said.
“I encourage everyone to take advantage of this great opportunity, and I look forward to seeing the memorable experiences and wonderful events our community host as part of our annual festival,” he said.
Applications for Fred’s Grants opened on September 7 and close on September 20.
