Golden Guitar winner Casey Barnes will be the headline act at the Boots n’ Beats Country Music Festival on Saturday, June 14 at Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park.

Barnes is heading to Macarthur country on a high after recently receiving the Golden Guitar for Contemporary Country Album of the Year for his chart-topping album Mayday.

“We’re so excited to be heading to Camden for the very first time to play the Boots n’ Beats event,” Casey said.

“We’ve got a massive show planned, and we’ll be performing a bunch of brand new songs, including my latest single Buy That Girl A Beer.

“Can’t wait to soak up the atmosphere and see everyone there!”

Barnes, pictured above, will be the headline act but the rest of the performers announced by Camden Council are the bee’s knees of country music who will have you partying ‘til the cows come home at Boots n’ Beats.

The list includes Carly Mozsny, a local musician with a strong passion for country music, Zak Armstrong, a country singer hailing from the Hawkesbury region and Ria Brcic, a well-known local singer who expertly fuses country, folk and bluegrass genres to create he own unique sound.

Also performing at Boots n’ Beats will be Fifth Whiskey, a duo made up of musicians Michael Kopp and Anthony Cianci who have clocked up hundreds of weddings, engagement parties, private events and gigs at pubs and clubs all over the country, Christie Lamb, an award-winning country artist with a passion for live performances and Alex Mather, whose music promises to keep you in a “yehaww” state of mind.

, said the event would be held on Saturday 14 June, 12-6pm, at Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park.

“Get those dancing boots ready guys, the Boots n’ Beats is only a few days away,’’ says Mayor of Camden, Cr Ashleigh Cagney.

“We’re so lucky to have such an incredible lineup of talent performing at the event, with each act so unique and special in their own way.

“And it won’t just be the amazing talent on offer – there’s so much more.

“From line dancing to face painting to roving entertainment, there’s something for everyone.

“This event is all about coming together, enjoying some music and the incredible atmosphere it creates, indulging in some delicious food and even having a dance. I can’t wait to see you all down there with your family and friends.”
