Local woman Natalia Esdaile-Watts has won a top honour in recognition of her work supporting women and families impacted by domestic violence.

She has been named the Urban Inspirational Woman of the Year at the 2025 Rotary awards.

These awards shine a light on women across NSW whose work often goes unrecognised, despite the profound impact they have in their communities.

Each year the awards uncover stories of resilience, compassion and service, and Natalia Esdaile-Watts’ journey is one that captures all three.

The Camden resident is the founder of Natalia’s Warriors, an initiative born from her own experiences, which has grown into a powerful advocacy and support network for women facing domestic violence.

She has worked tirelessly to raise awareness, provide resources and create a sense of solidarity for survivors, while also pushing for systemic change.

Her grassroots approach has shown that one person’s determination can ripple outward to influence policy, community attitudes and, most importantly, the lives of women and children who need safety and hope.

Ms Esdaile-Watts is a survivor, advocate and changemaker who has turned her own lived experience of domestic violence into a platform for helping others.

After leaving an abusive relationship, she made the brave choice not only to rebuild her life, but to speak openly about her journey so that other women could find strength and solidarity.

In 2014 she founded Natalia’s Warriors, an initiative that started as a small community of support and has since grown into a global network.

Through it, she raises awareness, provides resources and delivers powerful advocacy around the issue of domestic and family violence.

Her work has been featured across national and international media, with her story inspiring countless women to step forward and seek help.

Natalia is passionate about breaking the silence and stigma that too often surrounds domestic violence.

She believes that by sharing her story and creating safe spaces, she can help others find the courage to take back control of their lives.

Her message is always one of empowerment, that survival can lead to strength, and that every woman has the right to live free from fear.
