A local female police officer has been charged with domestic violence related offences and her employment status put under review.
The 41 year old senior constable attached to the South West Metropolitan Region has been charged with two counts of stalking/intimidation and one count of common assault.
On Monday (January 6) she was issued a future court attendance notice to appear before Burwood Local Court on April 1.
Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command commenced an investigation a year ago into reports an officer allegedly intimidated two family members.
Following inquiries, police also investigated reports the officer allegedly assaulted two other family members in 2023.

In a separate incident, a man extradited from Queensland was scheduled to appear in court today to face a raft of charges over shots fired at police during a pursuit that ended in Varroville.
Police will allege an occupant of the vehicle fired shots towards pursuing police, impacting the front bonnet of the police vehicle. No police officers were injured.
The vehicle crashed on St Andrews Road, Varroville after road spikes were successful deployed by police.
The driver of the vehicle – a 20-year-old man – was arrested while the passenger fled. Despite an extensive search of the area with the assistance of specialist resources, he couldn’t be located.
During a search of the vehicle, officers allegedly seized two pistols, an assault rifle, and other weapons.
A number of spent cartridges were also located and seized at the scene.
The 20-year-old has since been charged and remains before the court.
A second 20-year-old man was arrested by the Australian Federal Police at Brisbane Airport last Friday.
He appeared at Brisbane Magistrates Court yesterday (January 6), where Campbelltown detectives applied for, and were granted, his extradition to NSW.
He was escorted to Mascot Police Station where an outstanding warrant was executed, and he was charged with:
Special aggravated break and enter with intent while armed with dangerous weapon;
Discharge a firearm to resist arrest, two counts of firing a firearm, two counts of possessing an unauthorised pistol and having a loaded firearm in a public place;
Possess an unauthorised prohibited firearm, more than one unregistered unauthorised firearm in a public place, and possess or use a military-style weapon without permit;
Two counts of possessing or using a prohibited weapon without permit and be carried in conveyance taken without the consent of owner.
The accused was refused bail to appear before Downing Centre Local Court today (January 7).
