It’s one of the best art exhibitions going around, but time’s almost up for The Baker Boys.

The marvellous exhibition features works by our own Normand Baker, Alan D. Baker and his son Gary Baker, who represent the three Baker generations.

Their works tell the story of a local family whose creativity has shaped Australian art for decades.

Striking portraits, evocative landscapes and personal stories that capture the Macarthur region’s cultural heritage make for a compelling art exhibition.

This is real art, not the contemporary rubbish that’s obsessed with left wing causes.

But if you want to check this out, time is running out to experience The Baker Boys at the Alan Baker Art Gallery, Macaria, 37 John Street in Camden.

The exhibition closes on Sunday, November 30.

“This exhibition is a rare opportunity to see the Baker family’s legacy brought together under one roof,” says Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli.

“Walking through the gallery feels like stepping into the heart of Camden’s artistic story.

“It’s been a highlight for Alan Baker Art Gallery since it opened in May, and I encourage everyone to experience it before it finishes up next month.”

Gallery opening hours are 11am to 4pm, Thursday to Sunday. Admission to this exhibition is free.
